Pass Island

Our last day in Coron led us to Three beautiful destinations, our main destination was Pass Island - a beautiful white sand beach off the coast of Busuanga. Its pristine crystal clear waters and luscious green grass hidden under the coconut groves makes it a perfect spot for lunch or an afternoon siesta. Before getting to the Island we passed by two snorkeling destinations.

Uncle Romeo at Pass Island

The first one was the World War II 📷✌🏼 Japanese Ship that was bombed during the world war. As it was sunken decades ago you might be wondering why it hasn't broken into pieces, these ships were made of Manganese that made it stand the test of time. Over the years corals have made its way around the ship and make up for an astonishing site!

What used to be Japanese war ship is now a home to several species of fish and marine life.

Just keep swimming

After passing through what seems to be a stretch of pearl farms is a coral garden, our next and last stop before heading to Pass Island. The coral garden offers a wide stretch of different kinds of corals embodying a diverse marine life. It has such a wide range that continues to the abyss, would be a wonderful dive spot!

Two hours on a boooooat

Continuing Pass Island, although quite far - about 2-3 hour boat ride, is a must visit. Every corner of the Island is Instagrammable! The green grass and palm trees is a great contrast to the white sand and blue waters of Coron. Lunch was great as usual, this island is a perfect spot to rest and have that afternoon 'Siesta'. Swim your blues away or have a photo shoot by the mangroves you may take your time and enjoy this island the whole afternoon before heading back to Busuanga.
