About Me

Hi! My name is Clarence, you can call me Clark. As the blog name implies I am an adventurer, traveller, vagabond, nomad and in Filipino - “bulakbol” you name it, I’m that guy. I was born and raised in the chilly mountains of Baguio City the
former hill station of Americans in the Philippines during the World War. I have three siblings – one older brother and two younger sisters. My Mom is a Bank Manager and my Dad’s a Civil Engineer.

I know what you’re thinking “Oh no, another travel blog” this idea of a travel blog has been overdue. I wanted to create an output for my love for travel and writing reviews, and I believe this is the best way to do it. I do know that there a million
travel blogs out there; each one has a unique experience and has a different way of telling a story. I’m here to inspire you and help you reach your destination. I’ve been very passionate about sharing my experiences through Facebook and
Instagram and a lot of my friends constantly nag me to create a blog. I finally got the courage to make one after my post about a commuter bus in Facebook went viral!

What inspired me to travel?
My mom inspired me the most to travel the world. She got bit by the travel bug and started traveling all over the Philippines then to Asia and Europe. She’s been to 16 countries and over 40 cities; and hearing her tell stories about their tour and
adventures inspired me to travel and see things for myself. Fast forward to 2014 after graduating my Bachelors Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, I landed a job at Qatar Airways as a Server in the First and Business Class Lounge.
This was the perfect opportunity to travel the world and I surely did. So far I’ve been to 10 Countries (I know the number is not yet impressive but just
wait and see!) and I know there are more to see!

#CLARKVENTURE

I’m not here just to share my experiences and inspire you to travel, I’m here to help you reach your destination with tips on what to expect, where to eat and everything in between. What excites me most about travelling is getting to know the place and the locals, getting to know how they live their daily lives gives me a better understanding of their culture.
As the old Chinese Proverb goes “Don’t listen to what they say, Go See!”

So join me as I venture our planet Earth and one city, one plate and one drink at a time!
