Voted as the Best Island in the World Coron boasts its white sands and numerous diving and snorkeling spots. Join me as I venture through Coron's beautiful waters.
A delayed flight that almost got rerouted back to Manila, our trip to Coron was off to a rough start. The weather wasn't favorable and the runway was at zero visibility. But then, the skies cleared up and we were able to land safely in the town of Busuanga.
Upon arriving at our hotel, we had our meal and set off for our afternoon adventure 📷😁 we first visited the local landmarks in the town of Busuanga, visiting the local church, municipal hall and the reclamation area where you can get a glimpse of the islands of Coron and if you look behind you you'll see a hollywood like sign that says CORON at the peak of Mount Tapyas.

We then proceeded to get a closer look of the Coron signage and climb up Mt. Tapyas, it has 724 - that was a breeze for us mountain people 📷😂. The view from Mt. Tapyas was breathtaking, literally as it takes your breath away cause you have to climb to get there 📷😂 Take a minute to appreciate a panoramic view of the islands of Coron.

After descending, we headed off to the Maquinit Hot Springs, one of the few known saltwater hot springs in the world, it was so relaxing and the salt water gave a detoxifying feeling to the skin. The hot springs are divided in to 3 pools, and the pools are 3 feet deep. There is also one pool for kids. You can have a picnic or just relax for a few minutes before heading back to the hotel.
*be cautious when using the hot spring, people with high blood pressure, open wounds, heart problems and pregnant ladies must consult their doctors or may only be allowed to stay in the pools for a short while.
